Alan has extensive sales and marketing experience in both pharmaceutical and OTC brands that spans 32 years. The companies he has worked for are Johnson and Johnson, International Playtex, and SmithKline Beecham (now GlaxoSmithKline). Alan retired from GSK in June 2007. In his fifteen years with GSK, he held the positions of VP-Consumer Sales USA; VP-Sales and Marketing-Dermatology and Oral Care USA; General Manager- Australia and New Zealand; and lastly VP-Medical Sales and Marketing for the USA. He has had responsibility for over 30 OTC brands within the GSK portfolio, including a number of Rx Dermatology brands. Alan holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Iowa. | |||

Mark is building on a 25+ year career in marketing OTC healthcare products with GlaxoSmithKline. The portfolio of brands that Mark led as a Director included Tums*, Abreva*, Aquafresh*, Contac*, and numerous smaller brands. His category experience includes oral care, gastro-intestinals, dermatological, feminine hygiene, cough/cold, and dietary supplements. Mark also worked for two years in Global Category Management, running the global GI portfolio and spent 9 months leading a Direct-To-Consumer advertising effort for GSK Pharmaceuticals on Paxil and Avandia. Having also served as head of the Market Research, Digital, and Relationship Marketing functions at GSK, Mark brings an extraordinary breadth and depth of experience to his clients. Mark holds both undergraduate and graduate degrees in Business from Carnegie-Mellon University. | |||

As a senior healthcare and consumer marketing executive, Ted possesses a unique capability for connecting science, expert advocacy, and consumer insight to build strong brands. His track record includes leading established brands, developing new products, and launching brands in both consumer and physician driven markets. Colleagues respect Ted for strong strategic, analytical, leadership, and interpersonal skills. Ted recently completed a successful 26-year career with GlaxoSmithKline, serving most recently as Director of Policy & Innovation for Weight Control in Consumer Healthcare. He played a key leadership role in the launch of alli*, the first ever FDA approved non-prescription weight loss product and one of the top consumer brand introductions of 2007. Ted's experience includes work in marketing research, brand management, new product development, and Rx to OTC switch. Ted holds a BS in pharmacy and an MBA from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
